Blood & Fuzz

Get your paws on Luke Chueh’s fantastically morbid, 8-inch Blood & Fuzz Dunny Luke is best know for his adorable twisted animal characters. Expertly combining the innate cuteness of his bears and bunnies with themes of violence and despair, Chueh’s art is as striking as it is enigmatic. Blink and you might end up decapitated yourself – or worse, you’ll miss this homicidal masterpiece.
This will be available at the barrow on Tuesday 20th October.

*RECAP* Ferg's "Reconstructing Misfortune" custom show @ Munky King 10/08/2010

Thanks Flight Pattern and Geoffrey Forbes we have some awesome pictures of the opening night to Ferg/Playge/Threezero's 8" Misfortune Cat custom show titled "Reconstructing Misfortune"! this show was hosted by Munky King, and had customs from some seriously talented artists including: Andrew Bell, Luke Chueh, The Beast Brothers, Frank Kozik, Chris Ryniak, MAD, Reactor88, Jason Siu, Goad, LFOP, TADO, Jon-Paul Kaiser, MCA, Brian Morris, Jason Sui, Abe Lincoln Jr, Motorbot, Scott Wilkowski and Ferg. The show was setup great and really gave great focus to each and every custom submitted to the show.

A few standouts that I personally like would have to be the amazing piece from Andrew Bell... can't go wrong with anything skull related, that stone gargoyle like piece from Chris Ryniak, and JonPaul Kaiser's awesome Karate Kid Cat! Were you unable to make it out to the opening... no worries because this exhibition runs through October 29th, so be sure to stop by and check it out!

RAJE Toys reveals the winners for series one of the 'Project Blueprint' project!

RAJE Toys just announced the winners for their 'Project Blueprint' series one... and there are some seriously rad designs in this series, and along with those designs are some seriously intricate patterns! I can't wait to see them fully produced. They say on their website that "It was a very tough job to choose winners from such quality entries and we feel guilty that we can’t make them all." No worries though as they plan on hopefully making this a yearly series which will always be open to entries from the top names and the unknowns in the industry! As you can see from the list they have a little bit of just that, some well know artists and some unknowns... and what a great mixture! Congrats goes out to the series one artists which include: Hugh Rose, Luihz Unreal, Kris Dyche, Hyaku, Igor Ventura, Cesar Zanardi, Jon Paul Kaiser, Matucha, Leonard Brizuela, Sjors Vervoort, Chris Dobson, Nahuel Cardozo Esper, Lisa Rae Hansen, and Patricio Oliver!
I hope to see this as a mini series soon.
