Zombie Robber Dunny by MAD

Mad will be releasing a 8" Zombie Dunny, there will be 2 versions. The grey version with a pink tongue will be limited to 1500 pieces and will be available from kidrobot stores, online and selected retailers.

The SDCC edition is fearsome and foul, with a malevolent mug, elongated tongue and flesh-gnawing teeth, the black-masked Zombie Robber scours the night in search of loot and brains. Hole in the Middle

This is a story about electric guitars, strawberry cake, loneliness, and togetherness. It's about a boy who felt empty inside, and how he became a good friend and made himself whole again. Hole in the Middle has incredible art by Aya Kakeda, and is appropriate for children of all ages (and also for adults who are never quite satisfied with the way things are!).
Written by Kidrobot founder Paul Budnitz, illustrated by Aya Kakeda and published by Hyperion Press, The Hole in the Middle children's book comes bundled with one exclusive super-limited edition Dunny (only 200 made!) with a polka-dotted mushroom accessory. The Dunny is exclusive to Kidrobot and recommended for ages 5 and up.

Every time you purchase a box inside the box in a sealed black plastic bag is a piece that make up this puzzle piece.There are 10 pieces to complete the piece.

Well folks what can i say but great fun was had by all that attended the release of Dunny 2011 last night at the shop.

Thanks to Kronk for being there and revealing to us with his GID skeleton that we mus find the PINK heart to complete it, you are a cruel bugger.

The plane landed earlier this time so we will release the same day as Kidrobot.

This monsterific cyclops is based on Le Merde’s vinyl character Bangal Price and has a ratio of 1/20.

Chuckboy Dunny 2011

This cute and twisted design by Chuckboy contains the world’s smallest TRIKKY and has a case ratio of 2/20.

I wanted to create a very new and unique dunny. I frequently experiment with different KR products of different scale together. Rather than use a smaller Dunny as the rider character, I decided to use the newer TRIKKY to have a different look. I imagined a colony of synthetic organisms sealed inside a humanoid suit to create a creature of burden (the Dunny) with a post-apocalyptic rider (the TRIKKY). The overall design has influences from bondage and latex fetish-wear.

Aya Kakeda Dunny 2011

This cosmonaut dunny created by Aya Kakeda is called Laika. This design was inspired by the Soviet pup who was the 1st animal to orbit the Earth and will have case ratio of 1/20.

This is a dunny with a difference dressed in a cloak that is removable and a piece of timber with nails in it. Cant wait to see it without the cloak as well. It is a 1/20 ratio.

64 Colors 2011 Dunny

This must be the most beautiful dunny i have seen in a long time. 64 Colors work is fantastic and becoming one of my favorites. This Dunny comes in two colorways, pink— which has a ratio 2/20 and a rare white version that is 1/100.

Joe Ledbetter – ‘Wrecks and Dazey’ Release @ Meltdown

Analog Playset officially released Joe Ledbetter’s ‘Wrecks and Dazey’ two figure set @ Meltdown Comics in Hollywood on Sunday afternoon. First created for an illustration gracing the cover of Motion City Soundtrack’s ‘My Dinosaur Life’ album, the unlikely duo of a friendly T-Rex and a cunning bee have made the jump to 3D in vinyl.
Prior to Joe’s signing, Motion City Soundtrack’s Justin Pierre entertained the crowd with an acoustic performance. In addition to purchasing the brand new Wrecks and Dazey, Joe’s fans brought plenty of other treasured items for signing including many of his previously released toys including Smash, Pico and Wilshire and more. Joe also signed several ‘My Dinosaur Life’ albums and a Motion City Soundtrack book.
As you can see in the photo above and several after the break, Joe brought along the upcoming mono ‘Fossil’ edition of Wrecks and Dazey which will drop this summer. Limited to 300 pieces, this one features brand-new deco in the form of nicely executed skeletal details. After Fossil ? Lava (green + black) based on the Fossil Edition. Run? 100 pieces.

Chris Ryniak – SDCC 5” Misfortune Cat in Black + GID

There have been several releases of this 8" figure by FERG and Playge look to drop artist edition versions. First to hit the release block is Chris Ryniak’s 5” Misfortune Cat featuring his OG sculpt first seen in 2010’s Misfortune Cat custom show. This special SDCC edition featuring matte black with glossy black accents + GID eye is limited to 100 pieces and will go for $45 from Munky King’s booth. This one is bound to be on many collectors’ ‘list’.

The HOLE In The Middle Book + Dunny Signing At KRNY

KR founder, Paul Budnitz has just released his brilliant new children’s book, The HOLE in the Middle published by Hyperion Press. He will join DS2011 artist, Aya Kakeda at Kidrobot New York on June 23 for a exclusive signing of an extra special bundle that includes the book and a super-limited 3-inch Dunny designed by Aya and limited to 200 pieces. The festivities go from 6-8 pm and coincide with the trading party for the new Dunny Series 2011. This extra special Book + Dunny bundle will cost $40.00 and will also be available June 23 at all Kidrobot stores and kidrobot.com.

As The countdown to the June 23 for the release of DS2011 is today’ Daily Dunny – Wing Nut by South African artist, Kronk. This series stand out has a re-sculpted dome which includes a pinwheel hat, a smoke stack for a tail and a case ratio of 2/20.
Keep a look out for Kronk’s extra special bones that come secretly packaged piece-by-piece in each blind box. ;)

The much anticipated and leaked Swatch x Kidrobot Dunny + Watch collabo has been almost completely revealed with these new pics of a crazy (as in very cool) collector’s set which comes in a metal fold-out case complete with a 20” ‘stache Kozik Dunny as well as watches and matching Dunnys from Frank Kozik, Tilt, MAD, Joe Ledbetter, Jeremeyville, SSUR, Tara McPherson, & Gary Baseman. Pricing for this special set is said to be $1000 It may very well be the case that the Kozik 20” Dunnys is exclusive to this set, but only time (or another leak) will tell. Update: A few google searches seems to suggest that the OG leak came from Bozinovski Watches’ Facebook page [Seen on Vannen Watches].

This piece is called "Ready for Bedtime". It's based loosely off a design I did nearly a couple years ago for a mimobot contest. I liked the color scheme and the goofy smile so it's been back in my mind as a concept for a munny. It's a regular sized munny so with the leg extensions and ears it stand around 14 inches tall. This is a one-of-a kind piece and it will be showing and available for purchase all month long in Urban Decay II.

No need to hold your breath any longer. The 2011 Мишка Dunny has arrived in a blaze of chainsaw-massacring glory ready to skin your sister’s Barbie dolls alive. The beautiful minds over at Kidrobot finally succumbed to our relentless pressure and let us fuck with the Dunny form until it was almost unrecognizable. The 3-inch troublemaker is outfitted with a cute pair of blood-splattered overalls and a mini murder weapon to boot. Although we do choose favorites, all nineteen other cuddly collectables are delightfully deranged in their own special little way.
Each individual Dunny is blind-boxed, so you never know what twisted and ultra-limited artistic creation you’ll get. But ours is a chase figure, so yeah shit’s gonna be incredibly rare to get your grubby paws on. Oh and did I forget to mention that every one of these little terrors is complete with a trading card and puzzle piece that fits together to form an original, never-to-be-sold-anywhere Dunny that even we know nothing about.
